
Gandhinagar, March 12: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated 40 electric cars for Industrial training Institutions (ITIs) in Gandhinagar, aimed at enhancing practical training for over 8,000 young trainees in the motor mechanic trade. This initiative is part of a broader effort to equip government ITIs with modern technology, aligning with the growing demand for skilled professionals in the electric vehicle sector.
In the presence of Labour Skill Development Minister Kunwarji Bawaliya, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of practical training in innovative technologies related to electric vehicles. The initiative is designed to prepare trainees for emerging job opportunities in the automotive industry, particularly in battery technology, electric powertrains, and embedded software.
In addition to the electric cars, Patel also launched 50 Dhanvantari Arogya Raths and six mobile medical vans to provide primary healthcare treatment for construction workers and their families at home. These mobile units will address common health issues and conduct essential lab tests, ensuring better health outcomes for workers across the state.
With this new addition, the state now operates a total of 206 Dhanvantari Arogya Raths and 31 mobile medical vans across 34 districts, reinforcing its commitment to the health and well-being of its workforce.
