Four Robbers Escape with Cash in Delhi Incident

New Delhi, March 8: In a shocking incident that occurred on Saturday evening in the northeastern part of the national capital, four robbers fled the scene after stealing cash from an individual. The police were alerted immediately and arrived at the location to initiate an investigation.

According to police officials, the Khajuri Khas police station received a report of the robbery on Friday evening along the main Wazirabad Road. The complainant, Avinash (27), stated in his report that he works as a collection agent for a scrap dealer in the Old Seelampur area of Chandni Chowk. He was riding his scooter with cash collected from various locations when he reached the Axis Bank ATM near the main Wazirabad Road.

As he approached the ATM, four unidentified youths on two motorcycles intercepted him. The victim reported that the assailants surrounded him, threatened him, and snatched the bag filled with cash. Following the incident, all the robbers quickly fled the scene, causing panic in the area.

Upon receiving the information, police and forensic teams rushed to the site. The teams meticulously inspected the scene and collected necessary evidence. The police are also reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras to identify the culprits.

A case has been registered at the Khajuri Khas police station under sections 309/3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 25/27 of the Arms Act. Police officials have stated that due to the seriousness of the case, special teams have been formed to carry out raids for the identification and arrest of the suspects.

The police claim that based on technical evidence and CCTV footage, the suspects will be apprehended soon. Currently, the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Preliminary inquiries with local residents have yielded some evidence, aiding in the identification of the suspects, along with information regarding the motorcycle they used.
