Akshay Kumar Reminisces with Gaurav Gera and Rakesh Bedi on TV Show

Mumbai, March 12: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is currently making waves on television with the reality show ‘Wheel of Fortune’. The upcoming episode promises to be even more entertaining as renowned artists Gaurav Gera, Rakesh Bedi, and Ayesha Khan join him as special guests.

This episode is expected to be both emotional and entertaining for viewers, as Akshay’s interactions with his old friends are sure to resonate with the audience. The fun escalates when Gaurav and Akshay delve into nostalgic memories.

In a special puzzle round, Gaurav Gera struggles to answer a question, prompting Akshay to turn to the audience and ask, “Let’s see if anyone wants to try their luck today.” A member of the audience quickly responds with the correct answer – ‘Yash Chopra’. This moment brings a wave of emotion over Akshay, who pays tribute to Yash Chopra, acknowledging him as one of the finest directors in the entertainment industry.

Following this, Akshay and Gaurav will reminisce about the films they have worked on together. Notably, they appeared in ‘Chalo Dilli’ in 2011, ‘The Shaukeens’ in 2014, and ‘Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan’ in 2024.

In the comedy-drama ‘Chalo Dilli’, both Akshay and Gaurav made cameo appearances, with Akshay portraying Vikram Singh Rana and Gaurav playing the character Gopi. In the comedy film ‘The Shaukeens’, directed by Abhishek Sharma, Akshay also had a special cameo as a quirky superstar, while Gaurav played the role of Bhanu, a dealer.

In the action thriller ‘Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan’, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Akshay took on the role of a fearless and experienced soldier (Bade Miyan), embarking on a mission to save the country alongside Tiger Shroff. Gaurav portrayed the character Kabir.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ airs Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony ENTERTAINMENT Television, and it is also available for live streaming and later viewing on Sony Liv.
