
Begusarai, March 23: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) announced the Results for the 12th grade on Monday, revealing that a total of 85.19% of students passed this year. Among the top five students across all streams, 26 secured their positions, with 19 being girls.
One standout performer is Anamika Kumari, a student from KL High School in Matihani, Begusarai. Anamika achieved an impressive 478 marks (95.60%) in the Science stream, earning the third position in the state.
Speaking about her remarkable achievement, Anamika expressed her joy, stating, “I worked very hard and studied a lot to reach this milestone, and I am extremely happy to have achieved it.” She mentioned the challenges of commuting from Matihani to Begusarai, noting that she studied through YouTube for nearly six months.
Originally from Ramchandrapur in Lakhisarai, Anamika had previously secured the sixth position in her matriculation examination. She attributed her success to her parents, siblings, friends, and all her teachers. With a combination of offline and online studies, her future goals include preparing for the IIT-JEE and UPSC examinations.
Anamika’s uncle shared the family’s pride, saying, “There is immense joy in the family due to my niece’s rank. From Ramchandrapur to here, everyone is celebrating. Anamika previously secured the sixth position in her matriculation exam and now has achieved the third position in the entire state. It feels wonderful and fills us with pride.”
Notably, Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur topped the Science stream with 481 marks, while Aditi Kumari secured the highest rank in the Commerce stream with 480 marks, and Nishu Kumari from Gaya achieved the top rank in the Arts stream with 479 marks.
