Mumbai, March 12: Renowned Bhojpuri actress Anjana Singh is set to make a significant impact with her much-anticipated film ‘Kisan Bahuriya’, which will have its world television premiere soon. The film narrates the story of a woman who takes on farming responsibilities after marriage, balancing her household duties.
The makers shared a clip of the film on their official Instagram account, announcing, “Catch the world television premiere of Bhojpuri film ‘Kisan Bahuriya’ on March 14, Saturday at 6:30 PM and March 15, Sunday at 9:30 AM exclusively on B4U Bhojpuri channel.”
Directed by Manjul Thakur, ‘Kisan Bahuriya’ features Anjana Singh alongside Prashant Singh in lead roles. The cast also includes seasoned actors such as Khushi Jha, Vidya Singh, Golu Tiwari, Ashok Mishra, and Sudha Yadav, with Diksha Mishra playing a pivotal child role. The music for the film has been composed by Om Jha, and it will be showcased on the B4U Bhojpuri channel.
The narrative centers around a woman who starts farming to improve her husband’s deteriorating mental health and the family’s financial situation. The trailer, which has already been released, depicts Anjana’s arrival at her in-laws’ home, where she is taken aback by her husband’s condition.
