Mumbai, March 26: Actor-director Boman Irani has taken a light-hearted approach to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, positioning himself as a quirky diplomat. He shared a humorous video on social media on Wednesday, showcasing his comedic side alongside his well-known serious roles in films and web series.
In the video, Boman, referencing his Iranian roots, jokingly stated that if former U.S. President Donald Trump wants to talk to three Iranian-origin individuals—Smriti Irani, Aruna Irani, and himself—he is ready for Peace Talks.
Boman said in the Instagram video, “If Trump wants to talk to ‘Iranians’, I, Smriti Irani, and Aruna Irani are completely ready for peace talks. I’m absolutely prepared. We can do anything for peace.”
However, he added a humorous condition: “My only condition is that I won’t go to Washington. His delegation should come to Dadar Parsi Colony. We will host them according to their preferences, serving them dhansak and custard. We will also arrange for a gas cylinder. I believe this will make everyone’s life much easier.”
Meanwhile, the ongoing unrest in West Asia continues to have global repercussions, with the U.S. and Israel attacking Iran, while Iran retaliates against American allies in the Middle East and targets Tel Aviv.
Boman Irani’s video has quickly gone viral on social media, with fans enjoying his light-hearted take and satire on the current situation. One user commented, “Wow, sir, that’s funny,” while another added, “What a great point!”
