Hyderabad Police to Ensure Tight Security for Hanuman Jayanti Procession

Hyderabad, April 1: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar announced on Tuesday that extensive arrangements will be made for the peaceful conduct of the Hanuman Jayanti procession scheduled for April 2.

In a coordination meeting with officials and organizers, the Commissioner highlighted that approximately 168 processions are expected to participate in the main event. To ensure security, around 3,000 police personnel, along with additional armed forces, will be deployed at key locations. Organizers have been advised to train volunteers to manage the crowd effectively and adhere strictly to the designated routes.

Special precautions regarding the height of idols have been emphasized, considering the flyovers and railway bridges along the route. The police have urged organizers and participants to remain vigilant and report any suspicious individuals immediately.

To minimize inconvenience to the public, traffic changes will be implemented in advance, and citizens are requested to cooperate with police instructions. Additionally, the public has been warned against believing or spreading rumors on social media. The police stated that strict action will be taken against those posting inflammatory content.

After the meeting, the Commissioner inspected the 12-kilometer route from Gowliguda Ram Temple to Tadbund Hanuman Temple. The meeting included officials from various departments and representatives from different Hindu organizations.

The Police Commissioner expressed confidence that, with the cooperation of the public and organizers, the Hanuman Jayanti procession will be conducted peacefully, similar to the previous successful celebration of Ram Navami.
