Mamata Banerjee Admits Defeat Before Elections: Ghulam Ali Khatana

New Delhi, March 28: BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana has claimed that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has already conceded defeat ahead of the upcoming elections. Speaking about a meeting between Prime Minister Modi and various chief ministers, he highlighted the ongoing crisis in petroleum production due to the conflict between the US-Israel and Iran, stating that India plans to import oil from 41 countries.

In the context of the Bengal assembly elections, Khatana referred to a white paper released by Amit Shah, asserting that the people of Bengal are determined to address their issues. He mentioned the Murshidabad incident, attributing problems to the actions of the Indian alliance members. Khatana noted that since Prime Minister Modi took charge, incidents of riots have decreased.

Regarding the Assam assembly elections, he criticized the Congress party for adopting a “divide and rule” policy, suggesting that they have yet to decide whether the country or the party comes first.

On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released a 35-page white paper outlining the 15 years of Trinamool Congress rule in West Bengal. The report raised five major issues, including infiltration, corruption in the system, weakening of institutions, economic and industrial decline, and deterioration of law and order and social structures.

The white paper claims that 569 kilometers of the 2,216.7-kilometer international border with Bangladesh in West Bengal remains unfenced due to delays in land acquisition by the state government, which has facilitated infiltration.

Additionally, the document alleges that the Trinamool Congress has operated syndicates to provide fake identity cards to infiltrators in order to create a “vote bank,” impacting national security and demographic balance.
