
Udaipur, April 14: The prestigious literary organization, Lafzon Ki Mehfil, successfully held its monthly poetry gathering on Sunday at the banquet hall of Ashoka Palace. The event was graced by both senior and young poets from the city, who recited their exceptional works, creating an atmosphere filled with emotion and literary appreciation.
During the gathering, Mukesh Madhwani, the founder of the organization, announced the winners of the poetry competition held in March. Sheikh Muhammad Hanif Razvi secured the first position, followed by Prakash Tated in second place, and Asha Pandey Ojha in third. All winners were honored with trophies and special prizes.
Additionally, renowned literary figures Dr. Kulshankar Vyas and Vijay Kumar Maru were recognized with turbans, shawls, and mementos, along with certificates of appreciation.
The event’s coordinator, Pandit Purushottam Shakdweepi ‘Premi’, noted the participation of various poets, including Naresh Sharma, Arun Chaubisa, Nutan Bedi, Shahid Hussain Shaida, and many others, who enriched the program with their creative contributions. At the conclusion of the gathering, all literary figures pledged to continue advancing literary traditions.
