
Ayodhya, March 19: President Droupadi Murmu visited Ayodhya on Wednesday, marking a significant occasion in the construction of the Ram Temple. During her visit, she inaugurated the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ and ‘Shri Ram Naam Mandir’ on the second floor of the temple complex. The President is also set to honor 400 workers who contributed to the temple’s construction at a special event.
Sculptor Satyanarayan Pandey, who crafted the idols for the Ram Darbar and Saptarishi temples, expressed his emotions, stating, “This feeling is beyond words. It is a rare fortune that comes once in 500 years. We, along with the entire nation, are fortunate. Every Indian wishing for the Ram Temple’s construction will feel blessed, especially with President Murmu’s presence at this grand event.”
RSS leader Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi remarked, “Today marks a very important and historic moment in the Ram Temple construction process. The installation of the Shri Ram Yantra by the President is a golden opportunity for India and the temple.”
Alok Kumar, the International President of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, added, “This is an extremely joyous moment. In our tradition, regardless of how great a person may be, values, ethics, and religion are paramount.”
A participant from the Ram Temple movement shared, “This is an incredibly joyful experience. I arrived in Ayodhya last night. After visiting the temple and exploring the entire complex, our hearts are filled with pride.”
Another activist involved in the Ram Temple movement expressed, “This experience is truly emotional, as I have been coming here since the time of the ‘kar seva’ and was present during the ‘pran pratishtha’. I have been a regular visitor, and today I feel fortunate to be here again.”
One more activist stated, “This experience is profoundly emotional and indescribable. After 500 years of waiting and efforts, that day has finally arrived.”
