Ghaziabad, March 23: The Modinagar Railway Station in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh has undergone a complete transformation under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’, leading to significant improvements in various facilities and enhancing the overall experience for passengers.
New amenities have been introduced at the Railway Station to ensure a comfortable experience for travelers, including clean and spacious waiting areas, lifts, and several other modern facilities.
The station now features a contemporary building, a large circulation area, comfortable waiting rooms, and a new foot-over bridge. Additionally, ticket counters have been reorganized to facilitate easier ticket purchases for passengers.
To provide a clean environment, well-maintained toilets and improved sanitation systems have also been implemented. Equipped with modern facilities, the station has become operational, offering passengers a significantly better and more comfortable travel experience than before.
Many local residents have expressed their happiness regarding the renovated premises. Several individuals noted that previously, the station lacked adequate seating and basic amenities, but the situation has now completely changed. These new improvements have brought considerable relief to travelers and enhanced the overall station experience.
Passenger Krish shared his firsthand experience, stating that the facilities at Modinagar Station have improved significantly compared to before. “We have recently witnessed a major change here, and every aspect has been organized very well,” he remarked.
Another traveler, Amit, mentioned that lifts have now been installed at the station. “Several trains that did not stop here before will now arrive on schedule. The ticket counter has been newly constructed, and the cleanliness standards are much better than before. Additionally, waiting room facilities are now available,” he added.
Mahatma Beni Das, another passenger, commented, “Earlier, it was just a small platform, but now it has transformed into a truly beautiful station. Special attention has also been given to maintaining cleanliness here.”
It is noteworthy that under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’, over 1,300 railway stations across the country are being rapidly modernized. The renovation of Modinagar Railway Station is another significant part of this initiative.
