Update on Shreyas Iyers Injury Ahead of IPL Match

New Delhi, April 2: Punjab Kings’ assistant coach Brad Haddin has provided a significant update regarding captain Shreyas Iyer’s injury. Haddin confirmed that Iyer does not have a fracture in his wrist, although there is some swelling present. The coach expressed optimism that Iyer will be fit to play in the upcoming match against Chennai Super Kings on April 3.

According to ‘Cricbuzz’, Haddin stated that the absence of a fracture means Iyer could take the field against Chennai Super Kings. Iyer sustained the injury during the match against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday while chasing a target of 163 runs.
