Udaipur, April 11: In a remarkable achievement, Yash Gameti from Udaipur clinched the gold medal in the -46 kg category at the All India Inter-University Thang-Ta competition held in Imphal, Manipur from April 6 to 9. Representing Maharana Bhopal University, Yash secured the gold medal on his very first attempt, marking the first time Udaipur has won a gold in this traditional martial art. Yash, a player from The Zeal Martial Arts and Fitness Point, is being hailed as a testament to the rising standards of martial arts in the region. Praful Sawariya, the General Secretary of the Thang-Ta Association, described this achievement as an inspiration for the city.
