Young Man Found Dead in Asola, Delhi: Suspected Suicide

New Delhi, March 7: A tragic incident in the Asola area of Delhi has left the community in shock. On the evening of March 6, 2026, the body of a 24-year-old man was discovered hanging from a noose in his room at Jhenda Colony, Asola village. The police have classified the case as a suicide and have not indicated any suspicion of criminal activity.

According to reports, the police arrived at the scene following a PCR call. The information was provided by Harimohan, who had come with his son. The deceased, Dilip Kumar Bairwa, a resident of Bhoolupura village in Rajasthan’s Karauli district, had been staying in Delhi for about three days. He worked as a security guard.

On Friday, Dilip’s brother-in-law contacted a relative to inquire about his whereabouts, as his mobile phone was switched off. Upon request, Harimohan and his son went to check on him. They found the door locked from the inside and received no response despite knocking multiple times. Forcing the door open, they discovered Dilip hanging from a nylon rope attached to the ceiling fan.

The police, upon arrival, summoned a crime team for inspection. The body was taken into custody and sent to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. Initial investigations have revealed no signs of murder or external interference, suggesting that the case appears to be a suicide, although inquiries are ongoing.

Family members and locals are reportedly in shock over the incident. The police have urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward. The Maidan Garhi police are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the full truth.
