
New Delhi, March 30: The Indian Ambassador to Qatar met with the Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, to discuss various important topics. This meeting, as reported by the Indian Embassy in Qatar, addressed several aspects of bilateral relations and the need for dialogue and Diplomacy in light of the deteriorating regional situation.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Minister for the support extended to the Indian community in Qatar. According to a statement from the Qatari Foreign Ministry, the discussions focused on bilateral relations and various issues of mutual concern.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of garnering international support to immediately halt any escalating actions and return to the negotiation table, aiming to control tensions and protect regional security and stability.
This meeting is considered significant amidst the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, where the situation remains tense and many individuals are fleeing the region.
In related news, Kuwait reported that its air defense system successfully intercepted multiple aerial threats in the past 24 hours. However, a missile attack on a military camp resulted in injuries to ten soldiers. Official statements indicated that defense forces shot down 14 ballistic missiles and 12 drones, yet some projectiles struck a military camp, causing injuries. The injured personnel have been hospitalized and are receiving treatment. The attack also damaged the camp and targeted warehouses of a private logistics company, resulting in property damage but no casualties.
