New Delhi, March 9: The Indian cricket team has emerged victorious in the ICC T20 World Cup final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. This remarkable win marks India’s second consecutive title in the T20 format, a feat never achieved before by any team. Following the victory, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Team India.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, often referred to as the ‘God of Cricket‘, took to social media to express his delight, stating, “Winning the World Cup consecutively is a remarkable achievement. Our team showcased an exceptional brand of cricket. Well done, Team India. Jai Hind!”

Star batsman Virat Kohli also shared his thoughts on the platform X, highlighting the team’s extraordinary performance. “The explosive cricket we played throughout the tournament was unmatched. The boys displayed incredible character under pressure to become world champions once again. Congratulations to all players and management. Jai Hind.”

Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh praised the team’s resilience, noting, “Winning the World Cup title for the second time is no easy task; it requires character and determination. Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, the team played with great intent on the biggest stage. Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma were outstanding in the final.”

Yuvraj further commended players like Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya for turning the game around when needed, and highlighted Jasprit Bumrah’s exceptional performance under pressure. “Axar Patel bowled brilliantly and took crucial wickets. Hardik, Arshdeep Singh, and Varun Chakravarthy maintained pressure throughout the match. Congratulations to coach Gautam Gambhir and the entire support staff! Such moments come after immense hard work. India is once again the world champion.”

Virender Sehwag humorously remarked, “Pressure? What is that? Our boys played as if it were a Sunday street match.” This victory marks India’s third T20 World Cup title.
