Israeli Army Claims Major Strikes on Irans Military Facilities Imminent

Jerusalem, March 29: The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Efi Defrin, announced in a live broadcast that the Israeli military is set to complete attacks on all significant military sites in Iran within the next few days.

Defrin stated, “This means we will eliminate most of Iran’s military production capacity, and the Iranian government will take a long time to repair the damage.”

He further elaborated, “We are operating according to a systematic plan, which is prepared for a large-scale attack and is being adjusted continuously based on the situation. We have the opportunity to completely change the situation.”

According to the news agency Xinhua, Defrin commented on a missile launched from Yemen towards Israel on Saturday morning, asserting that Israel is prepared for combat on multiple fronts, including against the Houthis. He warned, “Anyone who attempts to harm Israeli citizens will pay the price.”

Regarding the Lebanese front, Defrin reported that the Israeli army has killed over 850 Hezbollah militants so far and is increasing control in southern Lebanon to prevent direct fire on northern Israeli settlements.

Meanwhile, Israel’s National Emergency Service, Magen David Adom (MDA), and the Israeli police reported that a missile attack from Iran in Tel Aviv on Friday resulted in the death of a man in his sixties.

Police indicated that the incident was linked to a dispersing cluster munition missile that struck multiple locations in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area on Friday night (local time). The deceased was identified as a construction worker who was injured by shrapnel from the missile. MDA also reported that two individuals sustained minor injuries in these attacks.

The missile launch from Iran triggered air defense sirens across large areas of central Israel around midnight, prompting residents to seek shelter. Earlier, a missile launched from Iran in southern Israel resulted in minor injuries to two people.

This escalation follows increased tensions after the United States and Israel initiated joint attacks on Iran starting February 28. In response to these attacks, Iran and its regional allies have targeted Israeli and American bases and installations throughout the Middle East.
