Kognivera Stallions Clinch Army Commander’s Polo Cup 2025 in Jaipur

Jaipur, Sept 10 (Patrika English News): The Army Commander’s Polo Cup 2025, the prestigious curtain-raiser of the 2025–26 Polo Season, concluded with grandeur at the 61 Cavalry Polo Ground in Jaipur. Organised by the South Western Command, the week-long championship (1–8 September) brought together some of the finest polo talent in the country, featuring six professional teams.

Local favourites Jaipur Polo Team bowed out in the semi-finals after a defeat to Kognivera Stallions, while Thunderbolt (Army Red), led by Lt Col Vishal Chouhan of the 61st Cavalry, entered the finals with a commanding win over Gohilwad Polo Team.

A Thrilling Final Showdown

The grand finale on 8 September turned into a gripping contest between Kognivera Stallions and Thunderbolt. The Stallions delivered a dominant performance, clinching the title with a score of 8 – 2½.

Felicitation Ceremony

The tournament concluded with Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command, felicitating the winners and runners-up. He commended the spirited performances of all teams and encouraged them to continue raising the bar in upcoming championships.
