Mumbai, March 13: Renowned director, choreographer, and producer Farah Khan is currently making headlines with her YouTube channel and cooking vlogs, where she shares candid conversations with various celebrities alongside her cook, Dilip Kumar.
In her latest vlog, Farah visits the expansive farmhouse of popular Punjabi pop singer, rapper, and musician Mika Singh, located in Delhi. The video showcases a tour of Mika’s stunning property, featuring a private helipad, a temple, a gurudwara, a music studio, and an impressive outdoor kitchen.
During the tour, Mika shares stories from his singing journey, recounting his early experiences and humorous moments. He reveals that his father used to perform kirtan at the gurudwara, which sparked his passion for music. “I have also sung a lot of kirtan,” he mentions.
Mika also talks about his elder brother Daler Mehndi, a famous singer in his own right, stating, “My brother also used to perform kirtan at the gurudwara.” He emphasizes that many singers from Punjab, like himself, received their initial music training from performing kirtan, which helped them develop their musical skills.
He notes the age difference between him and Daler, which is around 10 to 12 years. Mika also touches upon Bollywood parties, naming Farah Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan as the top figures in such gatherings. He highlights some of his hit songs, including “Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag,” “Tenu Main Love Karda,” “Jumme Di Raat,” “Aaj Ki Party,” “Aankh Maange,” and “Mauja Hi Mauja.”
The vlog also features a Punjabi saag and carrot-pea recipe prepared in a traditional style in Mika’s outdoor kitchen. Viewers can enjoy the blend of farmhouse life, animals, fields, and scenic beauty, along with music, fun, and entertaining stories from Mika.
