Om Prakash Rajbhar Comments on Nitish Kumars Rajya Sabha Aspirations

Azamgarh, March 7: Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has reacted to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar‘s aspirations for a seat in the Rajya Sabha. He stated that it is Kumar’s dream to engage in politics at the upper house, and that the BJP alliance has openly invited him to pursue this ambition.

Speaking to a news agency, Rajbhar remarked, “When a person becomes a chief minister and serves for five years, they start thinking about moving up. They talk about becoming a district panchayat member. Once they become a district panchayat member, they aspire to be an MLA. After becoming an MLA, they think about becoming a minister. Once they are a minister, they dream of becoming a chief minister. And when they become a chief minister, they aspire to be the prime minister. If they become a prime minister, they dream of becoming the president.”

Rajbhar further noted that Kumar himself posted about his intentions to join the Rajya Sabha, stating, “Going to the upper house is a personal decision, and I am heading to Delhi. I have never been to the Rajya Sabha.” He emphasized that Kumar has the freedom to pursue his ambitions, as he is his own master, and that the BJP alliance has extended a clear invitation to him. Rajbhar also mentioned that the BJP has already demonstrated its support by making him the chief minister in Bihar.

Regarding speculations about the BJP appointing a chief minister in Bihar, Rajbhar stated, “It is the responsibility of the assembly members to choose their chief minister. We are with the NDA.”

In the same breath, Rajbhar targeted the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, asserting, “The narratives of the SP and Congress are entirely different. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav speak against each other. They criticize the government on every issue, and they only manage to secure some votes. If they start praising government schemes, they won’t get a single vote.”

Minister Rajbhar concluded by highlighting the achievements of the current government, stating, “During the SP government, the disabled received ₹300 and the elderly ₹500 as pension. The BJP government has given equal respect to everyone and has increased pensions to ₹1,000. Previous governments exploited farmers by siphoning off financial aid. Now, all leaks have been sealed, which is why the opposition protests.”
