
Udaipur, April 13: The executive meeting of the Paliwal Brahmin Sabha, Mewar, was held on Sunday at the Aastha Training Center located on Bedla Mataji Road. The meeting commenced with the ceremonial garlanding, lighting of the lamp, and a prayer. All guests and members were welcomed and honored during the event.
The meeting was chaired by the Mandal President, Dr. Bhawar Heeraawat, with the chief guest being Durga Shankar Paliwal, a recipient of the Veer Chakra award. Special guests included Dr. Umashankar Sharma, Dr. Mohan Prakash Sharma, Purushottam Paliwal, and Mrs. Pushpa Paliwal. The General Secretary, Mahesh Joshi, provided a brief introduction to the organization and conducted the meeting.
Various significant programs for the year 2026 were outlined during the meeting. These include a talent recognition ceremony in July, a mass marriage and Yajnopaveet ceremony in November, a career counseling program for youth, the establishment of a cooperative consumer center, and a youth introduction conference. Additionally, a decision was made to form a WhatsApp group to engage the youth.
Chief guest Durga Shankar Paliwal shared his experiences from the 1971 India-Pakistan war, encouraging the youth to embrace courage, discipline, and patriotism. Speakers emphasized the importance of organizing, educating, and making the community self-reliant. In conclusion, General Secretary Mahesh Joshi expressed gratitude to all attendees.
