Udaipur, April 13: A horrific road accident on the Udaipur-Nathdwara National Highway on Sunday evening resulted in the tragic deaths of three young men. A speeding trailer collided with the bikers from behind, causing them to be thrown off their vehicle and resulting in instant fatalities. Following the incident, chaos ensued in the area as a large crowd gathered at the scene.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 5:30 PM, just before the Chirwa Tunnel. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle was completely destroyed, while the trailer lost control and overturned further down the road. Bags loaded in the trailer were scattered across the highway, temporarily disrupting traffic.
Upon receiving the information, the Sukher police arrived at the scene and, with the help of a crane, cleared the trailer to restore traffic flow. Station Officer Bharat Yogi confirmed that the bodies of the three deceased have been placed in the mortuary at MB Hospital, and their identities have yet to be established.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the trailer was moving at a high speed when it struck the motorcycle from behind. Police are currently searching for the driver of the trailer, who has fled the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
