Tribute to Ashoka and Ambedkar at Gulab Bagh

Udaipur, April 15: A large gathering of citizens and tourists paid homage to Emperor Ashoka and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar during a floral tribute event organized by Lokjan Seva Sansthan at the Saraswati Library premises in Gulab Bagh. The event was held to commemorate the birth anniversaries of these two eminent figures.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Jayraj Acharya, who expressed that the entire nation is today expressing gratitude towards these great personalities. The president of the organization, Dr. Vimal Sharma, added a literary dimension to the event by reciting poems based on the lives of Emperor Ashoka and Dr. Ambedkar.
Manohar Lal Mundra highlighted the contributions of both personalities, emphasizing that Ashoka’s birth anniversary should be celebrated widely across the country. Jai Kishan Chaube expressed gratitude, noting that the public nature of the event allowed around 80 tourists to also pay their respects within just two hours.
Notable attendees included Inder Singh Ranawat, Haji Sardar Mohammad, Chain Shankar Dashora, Dilip Rawat, Himmat Singh Wari, Arjun Lal Khaturia, and Raysal Singh Shekhawat, among many other distinguished citizens.
