Udaipur, April 9: A shocking incident occurred in the Ghantaghar police station area of Udaipur, where a young man was stabbed to death due to a personal rivalry. The late-night attack has left the community in a state of panic, with the victim’s family expressing deep anger and grief.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Sahil, also known as Suhani, son of Arif. The incident took place around 12:30 AM on Tuesday night in the Silawatwadi-Bichhu Ghati area. Reports indicate that Sahil was returning home on a motorcycle with a friend when assailants, who had been lying in wait, attacked him. The attackers stabbed him in the chest and below the waist, causing him to fall severely injured.
He was rushed to MB Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. Following the incident, the assailants fled the scene. On Wednesday morning, a large number of family members gathered at the mortuary, demanding a compensation of 25 lakh rupees and a government job. The police have registered a case and are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area. The atmosphere turned somber as the victim’s sister mourned the loss.
