
New Delhi, March 15: The Election Commission announced on Sunday the upcoming assembly elections in four states and one Union Territory. Following this announcement, BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana expressed confidence that the party’s workers remain active around the clock in preparation for the elections.
In an interview in New Delhi, Khatana stated that young voters in the states going to the polls will support Prime Minister Modi to strengthen his position. He emphasized that the youth and women in these states are determined to align with PM Modi‘s vision to fulfill the commitment of a developed India.
Khatana remarked that with the elections now declared, the opposition’s statements are merely deceptive. He pointed out that the people of Bengal are aware that the current government is engaged in protecting infiltrators, and the youth of Bengal will vote for a better future. He asserted that the youth of the country stands with PM Modi for a developed India.
Addressing the opposition’s claims regarding the LPG crisis, Khatana noted that they had spread rumors even during the COVID-19 pandemic and cannot be trusted. He assured the public that under PM Modi’s leadership, the nation will quickly recover from any crisis, highlighting that there is no comparison to PM Modi’s management skills.
In response to Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar’s remarks about Pakistan, Khatana criticized him for making statements to remain relevant in politics. He accused Aiyar of being frustrated and pointed out that during his time, the country was riddled with scams. Khatana asserted that under PM Modi’s leadership, India is on the path to becoming the third-largest economy in the world.
He concluded by stating that while the BJP desires good relations with neighboring countries, terrorism and dialogue cannot coexist.
