
Jaipur, 8 October (Udaipur Kiran News). In the Bani Park police station area, there was chaos in an ice factory on Wednesday morning due to leakage of ammonia gas. However, there was no loss of life in this incident. Fire personnel who reached the spot closed the main valve and controlled the situation. The accident was averted due to the overcame of gas leakage in time. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot.
ASI Tejram told that this accident took place in the auspicious ice factory in the water screw area of Shastri Nagar. Where a pipe of ammonia gas storage system was leaked. This led to the gas leak. After this there was a stir and chaos. People present on the spot informed the police and fire station. On receiving the information of the accident, the fire brigade and administrative staff immediately got into action. Half a dozen fire engines have reached the spot. Firemen controlled the situation by shutting down the main valve associated with gas supply. At present, there is no information about the loss of life and property in this incident.
As soon as the news of the gas leak was received, all the laborers present in the factory were immediately taken out. The factory has been evacuated with immediate effect. The smell of gas spread to the surrounding houses. On hearing the news of a dense population like Banipark and in the posh area, people living nearby also came out of their homes. There was an atmosphere of chaos on the roads.
