Ranchi, March 29: BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has made a statement regarding international conditions and domestic Politics, emphasizing India’s long-standing policy of advocating for peace and dialogue in any conflict. He remarked that war benefits no one and urged the United States, Israel, and Iran to come to the negotiating table to reduce tensions. Shahdev warned that signs of an economic downturn are emerging globally, and innocent lives are being lost due to warfare.
In a sharp critique, Shahdev targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of acting against the fundamental spirit of the Constitution. He pointed out that Banerjee has previously attacked the Election Commission and is now questioning the security forces, who are tasked with protecting the nation in challenging circumstances.
He asserted that the Election Commission is conducting elections with complete transparency, while Banerjee appears to be anxious about the prospect of losing. Shahdev suggested that she has previously won elections through dubious means, which is why she is now concerned.
Looking ahead to the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Shahdev made a bold prediction, stating that the DMK is set to lose, paving the way for an NDA government in the state.
Additionally, he took aim at Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, asserting that no matter how many goodwill tours Yadav undertakes, the BJP will return to power in Uttar Pradesh with a significant majority in 2027. He claimed that during the tenure of the Samajwadi Party, lawlessness prevailed, with goons openly carrying weapons, a situation that has now changed, leading to distress among opposition leaders.
