Jaisalmer, October 23 (Udaipur Kiran News). On the occasion of dooj of Kartik Shukla Paksha, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at the Samadhi of Baba Ramdev in Ramdevra of the district on Thursday. During this, Shravan Mukut was installed on Baba’s Samadhi. Due to the crowd, there was a traffic jam on Pokaran Road, Nachana Road and National Highway. On the morning of Dooj, after the Abhishek, Shravan Mukut was placed on Baba’s Samadhi. There is a tradition of installing the crown on the day of Shukla Paksha. Devotees perform special prayers on this occasion and after Shringaar Aarti, the crown is installed. There are long queues of devotees since 3 am in the morning. RAC has also been deployed along with Pokhran, Bhaniyana and Lathi police stations. Entry of vehicles closed in Ramdevra. Due to excess of passenger vehicles, there was jam on the main roads of Ramdevra. Traffic remained disrupted on Pokaran Road, Nachana Road and National Highway. The entry of vehicles inside the town was completely stopped and the traffic police set up barricades at various places. Devotees also visited Baba’s center of faith, Ram Sarovar Pond, Parcha Stepwell and Jhula Palna. A large number of devotees from various districts of Rajasthan including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra reached Ramdevra.
