Faujia Khan Calls for Investigation into USCIRF Report Opposition

New Delhi, March 23: NCP-SP party MP Faujia Khan has demanded an investigation into the 275 former judges and bureaucrats in India who opposed the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) report. She emphasized the need to take the USCIRF report seriously.

In an interview, Khan stated, “The report comes from an international organization that monitors religious freedom. I believe this report should be taken seriously. Who are the 275 officials that have signed in opposition? What organizations are they associated with, and what is their background? This needs to be investigated.”

She further noted, “We see that wherever there are vacancies, they are for SC, ST, OBC, and other backward classes, whether in IITs, IIMs, or throughout our bureaucratic system. The people currently in positions of power come from higher castes. We need to examine who is speaking out and their backgrounds.”

It is important to mention that the USCIRF called for a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in its report released in March, which has been opposed by the 275 former judges, officials, and military personnel, labeling it as biased.

Khan also responded to Prime Minister Modi’s long tenure as the head of government, saying, “I would like to personally congratulate our Prime Minister for breaking records. If we assess what has been achieved during these record years, many good things have indeed happened. It is not true that nothing has been done. We have seen significant improvements in infrastructure and connectivity. However, there are critical questions about why infrastructure often breaks down or collapses after it is built.”

Meanwhile, the NCP-SP MP appealed to Prime Minister Modi, stating, “As you move forward, please create an atmosphere in this country similar to that of ancient India. Peace, sensitivity, and brotherhood should increase in our society, not diminish.”

She concluded, “The Constitution, brotherhood, and love should flourish in the country. As a Prime Minister who is a ‘world guru’ and can stop wars for the people, I urge you to work towards establishing peace in your country.”
