Festival special trains will increase passenger facilities on Diwali and Chhath Puja.

Jodhpur, 18 October (Patrika English News ). To provide great relief to the passengers on Diwali and Chhath Puja, Festival Special trains are being operated by the Railways, under which, while the weekly special train will run between Jodhpur and Mau stations on Sunday, the train will leave for the first trip between Jodhpur and Bandra Terminus stations on October 22.

Jodhpur DRM Anurag Tripathi of North Western Railway said that in view of Deepotsav, train 04823 Jodhpur-Mau Weekly Festival Special train will depart from Jodhpur Railway Station at 5.30 pm on October 19. It will reach Mau Junction station at 11.20 pm the next day via Merta Road-Jaipur-Mathura Junction-Lucknow-Ayodhya Dham. He told that in return, train 04824 Mau-Jodhpur special will leave from Mau station at 4 am on Tuesday, October 21 and reach Jodhpur at 8.55 am the next day via Jaipur.

He said that similarly, in view of passenger convenience, Railways is starting operation of Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Festival Special train for two trips via Jaipur. Train 04825, on its first trip, will depart from Jodhpur at 5.30 pm on Wednesday, 22nd October, via Merta Road-Jaipur-Kota-Vadodara and reach Bandra Terminus at 6.20 pm the next day and will depart from there at 9.20 pm on Thursday, 23rd October, and reach Jodhpur at 9.45 pm the next day.
