Jaipur, October 18 (Udaipur Kiran News). Under the five-day festival of lights, a free Mahalakshmi-Gayatri mahayagya is being organized on Roop Chaturdashi, Sunday, October 19 from 8 am in the presence of Mahant Anjan Kumar Goswami in Govind devji temple. Under the guidance of Tirtha Shantikunj Haridwar, the team of Gayatri Shaktipeeth Brahmpuri will perform the Yagya as per Vedic rituals.
Manas Goswami, the service officer of the temple, said that special havan material will be offered in the house with the help of Sri lakshmi Gayatri Mahamantra for happiness, prosperity, poverty, disease and sorrow. For Shri Vriddhi, offerings of lotus gatta and kheer will also be made to the fire god. Pooja-havan materials will be provided free of cost to the devotees. There will be no need to bring any item along. However, for more benefits, interested persons can bring camphor, clove, cardamom and guggul incense from their home.
In order to teach punctuality, the devotees who enter the Yagya place before 8 am will be provided with Diwali puja pictures, cow material and suhaag material as free gifts. All these materials will be placed at the feet of Thakurji in the evening tableau on Saturday evening and will be sprinkled with Ganga water. Omprakash Aggarwal, Chief Trustee of Gayatri Parivar Rajasthan, said that during the Yagya, there will be a special address on wise use of money.
