Mumbai, March 31: Renowned Hollywood director Zack Snyder has showered praise on actress Huma Qureshi, calling her one of the finest talents he worked with in the film “Army of the Dead.”
On Tuesday, Snyder shared a picture of Qureshi on Instagram, stating, “Huma Qureshi is one of the best actresses I had the opportunity to work with in ‘Army of the Dead.’ Her talent, screen presence, and incredible shine were remarkable.”
The post drew reactions from various artists in the ENTERTAINMENT industry. Huma Qureshi responded with, “You are the best… Boss,” while choreographer Farah Khan commented, “Wow.”
“Army of the Dead” is based on Snyder’s original story and revolves around a group of soldiers planning a heist in a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak. Snyder conceived the idea for this film as a sequel to his 2004 movie “Dawn of the Dead.”
The film features a star-studded cast, including Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, and Garrett Dillahunt.
Huma Qureshi will soon be seen in “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” a gangster action-drama directed by Geetu Mohandas. The script is penned by Yash, who also stars in the lead role alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasant, and Tara Sutaria in significant roles.
Originally scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, the film has been postponed globally on the advice of its major distribution partner, Faras Films. It is now set to hit theaters on June 4, 2026.
