Khatushyamji temple will remain closed in preparation for Diwali, doors will open again from the evening of October 13.

Sikar, 11 October (Udaipur Kiran News). An important information has come to light for the Shyam devotees planning to visit the world famous Khatushyam temple. On the occasion of Diwali festival, due to special cleaning and decoration work in the temple premises, the doors of the temple have been temporarily closed for public darshan.

Shyam Mandir Committee Minister Manvendra Singh Chauhan said that special cleaning, painting and electrical decoration work of the temple premises is being done on Diwali.

During this period, no darshan of any kind will be possible in the temple premises including the sanctum sanctorum. The doors of the temple will be closed at 10 pm on October 12 and will be opened again for the devotees at 6 pm on October 13. According to the temple administration, all the preparations will be completed within the stipulated period and a grand aarti will be organized along with the opening of the doors on the evening of 13th October. After this, regular darshan arrangements will start again.

The temple committee has requested all the Shyam lovers to plan their visit to the temple after the evening of October 13 and not to travel unnecessarily during the closed period for darshan. This step has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, cleanliness and beautiful arrangements of Diwali. The temple premises are being decorated attractively with flowers, lamps and electric lighting. Like every year, this time too on the occasion of Diwali, Baba Shyam’s court will appear to the devotees in a wonderful and supernatural form.
