Mumbai, March 27: Nostalgia for old Hindi films and their songs continues to resonate with audiences today. Renowned singer Kumar Sanu recently shared a glimpse into his past, reflecting on the cherished memories of the 90s.
On Friday, Sanu posted a special video on Instagram featuring the recording of the duet song “Masti Bhara Hai Ye Samaa.” He expressed, “I recorded many songs in the 90s, and these tracks still exist on old studio tapes.”
The singer emphasized the deep emotions and unique memories associated with each song. “Listening to this beautiful duet takes me back to the recording sessions of the film ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin.’ That time was filled with music, passion, and unforgettable people. The atmosphere during the recording was joyful and memorable,” he wrote.
Sanu fondly remembered Gulshan Kumar, stating, “I miss him the most. His vision and dedication to music made so much possible. Beautiful songs were created because of him, and he will always be remembered. I also cherish the sweet moments spent with Kishan Kumar and little Bhushan. The friendship and collaboration from those days still touch my heart.”
He further noted that the film “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin” was directed by Mahesh Bhatt, with the song sung by Anuradha Paudwal and Kumar Sanu, lyrics by Sameer, and music composed by Nadeem-Shravan.
In conclusion, Sanu remarked, “As they say, some songs are made for the whole world… and some are just for that special moment.” The song “Masti Bhara Hai Ye Samaa” remains an unreleased track from the film “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin,” although its recording video is available on social media.
