CM Hemant Soren Celebrates Ram Navami at Tapovan Temple

Ranchi, March 27: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren celebrated Ram Navami on Sunday by performing rituals at the renowned Shri Ram Janaki Tapovan Temple in Ranchi. Accompanied by his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, the Chief Minister extended his greetings and best wishes to the devotees present at the temple complex.

In his brief address to the gathered devotees, Soren expressed his gratitude for being able to participate in the annual faith gathering at the Shri Ram Janaki Tapovan Temple. He noted the large turnout of devotees for the rituals and mentioned the ongoing processions from various akharas. He urged everyone to celebrate this festival with devotion, enthusiasm, and joy, while embodying the ideals of Lord Ram in their lives to promote social harmony and unity.

The Chief Minister highlighted the temple’s rich history and distinct identity, announcing that steps have been taken to further strengthen its recognition. He mentioned that beautification efforts for the temple are underway and expressed hope for their swift completion. During the event, the temple priests and officials honored him with a memento.

Soren also shared images of the rituals on social media. Earlier in the day, he performed prayers at the Hanuman temple located within his residential complex and hoisted the Hanuman flag. In a message to the residents of the state, he stated, “The life of Lord Ram inspires us to walk the path of truth, duty, compassion, and justice. His ideals motivate us to build a society where harmony, service, and ethics prevail.”

Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar also extended his wishes to the people of the country and the state on Ram Navami. He said, “On this auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, I extend heartfelt greetings to all citizens of the country. May the ideals of Lord Ram, which embody truth, righteousness, sacrifice, and virtue, illuminate everyone’s life. I wish that this sacred festival brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to all.”
