Udaipur, April 10: A leopard fell into a 70-foot deep well in the Lasadia area of Salumber district on Thursday morning. After a rescue operation that lasted nearly five hours, the forest department team successfully retrieved the animal. The incident occurred in Dhawadi village, where farmer Rooplal Dangi had gone to operate a motor. Hearing commotion from the well, he peered inside and spotted the leopard, immediately notifying the forest department. Upon receiving the information, the team arrived at the scene and began the rescue effort. Initially, they attempted to extract the leopard using a cage, but this method proved unsuccessful.
