March Hits Big, April Promises More Blockbusters

New Delhi, March 24: The film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge,’ released in March, is making waves at the box office, garnering impressive earnings both domestically and internationally. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this spy action thriller has become the highest-grossing film overseas during its opening weekend. As April approaches, Bollywood is set to entertain audiences with a lineup of exciting films across various genres.

April will see the release of films spanning action, romance, horror-comedy, and period drama, promising ample entertainment for moviegoers. Notable releases include ‘Awarapan 2,’ along with films starring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

‘Awarapan 2’ is set to hit theaters on April 3. The sequel to the 2007 hit film ‘Awarapan’ features Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, showcasing a story filled with emotion, action, and romance.

Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ will be released on April 10. The film features a stellar cast, including Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal, and promises a delightful blend of fear and laughter, as teased in its trailer.

The period action film ‘Swayambhu,’ starring Nikhil Siddharth, is also scheduled for release on April 10. Initially set for February 13, the release was postponed due to post-production and VFX requirements. The makers have announced that the film will be released in two parts.

Additionally, ‘Dacoit: A Love Story,’ featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, will also be released on April 10. This film revolves around themes of love and revenge, packed with action and romance.

One of the most anticipated films, Salman Khan’s ‘Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ (previously titled ‘Battle of Galwan’), is also expected to release in April, although the exact date has yet to be confirmed. This film is based on the real battle between India and China in the Galwan Valley, showcasing the bravery of Indian soldiers, with Chitrangada Singh starring alongside Khan.

On April 24, ‘Ginny Weds Sunny 2,’ a romantic-comedy sequel to ‘Ginny Weds Sunny,’ will be released, featuring Avinash Tiwari and Medha Shankar in lead roles, presenting a fun narrative about love, comedy, and relationships.

For horror enthusiasts, the horror-thriller film ‘The Wardrobe’ will also be released on April 24, starring Rajnish Duggal and Divya Agarwal. Directed by Saurabh Chaube and produced by Jyoti Raj Gawli, this film promises to deliver chills and thrills.
