
Udaipur, April 6: In response to the increasing passenger demand during the summer holidays, the Indian Railways has announced the launch of a new Summer Special train that will pass through Udaipur. The Kanpur-Asarwa Summer Special train will operate weekly from April 6 to July 14, providing significant relief to travelers heading to Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
Train number 01905 will arrive in Udaipur every Monday at 11:45 PM and will reach Asarwa (Ahmedabad) at 5:45 AM on Tuesday. Conversely, train number 01906 will arrive in Udaipur on Tuesday at 3:20 PM, stop for 10 minutes, and then depart for Kanpur at 3:30 PM, arriving there by 7 AM on Wednesday.
This train will also make stops at key stations such as Mavli, Chanderia, Bundi, and Sawai Madhopur, enhancing accessibility for passengers from nearby rural areas.
The coach configuration includes 9 sleeper coaches, 5 general coaches, and 3 AC coaches, increasing the likelihood of confirmed seats for travelers amid long waiting lists during the holiday season.
