Kolkata-Madar Train Schedule Changes Announced

Chittorgarh, April 7: The North Western Railway has announced a temporary change in the Kolkata-Madar weekly train service, introducing a new stop for passengers. Starting in May, the train will now halt at Ranchi Road station instead of Barkakana.
According to Amit Sudarshan, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the railway, train number 19607, which operates the Kolkata-Madar service, will now run on May 21 instead of May 22. It will arrive at Ranchi Road station at 8 PM and depart at 8:05 PM after a five-minute stop.
Similarly, train number 19608 for the Madar-Kolkata service will now operate on May 27 instead of May 26, arriving at Ranchi Road station at 6:50 AM and departing at 6:55 AM.
Impact on Chittorgarh Passengers
This change will also affect passengers from Chittorgarh district, as the train passes through Chanderia station. Train number 19607 arrives at Chanderia around 1:15 AM, while 19608 arrives around 3 AM. Therefore, passengers will need to consider the new schedule when planning their journeys.
Connecting Five States
This weekly train service connects West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The new stop at Ranchi Road station will directly benefit passengers from the Jharkhand region, while other travelers can also expect improved convenience during their journeys.
