Jaipur, October 19 (Patrika English News ). An LPG gas cylinder kept in a restaurant exploded on Sunday evening in Kishangarh-Renwal of Jaipur Rural district. With a loud bang there were two explosions and a part of the building collapsed. During this time the building also caught fire. A young man working in a sweets factory on the first floor fell down and got buried under the debris.
Renwal police, with the help of SDRF team, pulled out two youths buried under the debris and took them to the hospital. After some time, another young man was found buried under the debris and was taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. Police is trying to find out the cause of the cylinder blast.
Police Officer Devendra Chawla said that there is a Rajasthan restaurant in the lower part of the two-storey building near the railway gate in Kishangarh-Renwal and a sweets factory in the upper part. During the festival of Diwali, sweets and food were being made in the factory built above the restaurant. Where on Sunday evening a cylinder kept on the first floor exploded. There were two explosions with loud noise. The roof of the factory collapsed due to the blast. The confectioner working on the first floor fell down. The debris of the building also fell on him. The wall of the balcony portion broke and scattered on the road below. During this time, two youths present near the restaurant also got buried under the debris. When the police reached the spot on information, they found the debris of the building scattered up to a distance of 30 feet.
SDRF and fire brigade were informed and called to the spot. The police team conducted a rescue operation to rescue the youth buried under the debris. Police controlled the fire with the help of fire brigade.
The SDRF team pulled out Anuj and Divansh, who had come to eat Patasi on a cart, from the debris in critical condition. When Anuj’s condition became critical in the accident, he was admitted to SMS Hospital. After an hour, another youth was found buried under the debris. He was identified as restaurant confectioner Kishan Kumar (32), resident of Kannauj (Uttar Pradesh). Kishan Kumar, who was found in a critical condition, was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
