This time on the occasion of Diwali, Panchparva Diwali Mahotsav is being organized in all the state direct charge and state self-reliant category and trust managed temples managed and controlled by the Devasthan Department of Rajasthan. Under this, there will be Rangoli making, lighting and lighting arrangements, Deepotsav, Maha Aarti and Bhakti Sandhya, Mahabhog and distribution of Prasad, worship of clay Ganesha in 544 government temples under the Devasthan Department. Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry, Cow Husbandry, Dairy and Devsthan Department, Zoraram Kumawat, inaugurated this Panchparva Diwali on Sunday by offering prayers at the Braj Nidhi Ji Temple located in Chandni Chowk, Jaipur. During this, he observed the decoration of the temples of the nearby Devasthan department. He directed the department officials to make proper arrangements in the temples; He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, a total amount of Rs 8 crore 10 lakh has been sanctioned for special decoration of temples and other religious works. Under this, various events will be organized in 544 temples of the department till 24th October. Minister Kumawat said that this time programs of Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali, Deepawali, Gauvardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj will be organized in the temples of the Devasthan Department. Under this, all the temple premises have been decorated with flower garlands by running a special cleanliness campaign. Apart from this, attractive rangolis have been made in the temples with the participation of local artists and devotees, which are a symbol of traditional and cultural beauty. Along with this, the entire atmosphere has been made festive by illuminating the temples with lamps and electric lighting. Minister Kumawat said that on the night of Diwali, special Maha Aarti will also be organized in all the temples, due to which the message of one lamp for all will be spread. During this period, devotional music, kirtan and cultural activities will also be organized in the temples. Apart from this, a special Mahabhog will be offered to the idol, after which Prasad will be distributed to the devotees. This time, idols of Ganesha and Lakshmi made of clay will be worshiped with the message of environmental protection.

Division wise number of temples

Special events are being organized in 37 temples of Jaipur First Division of Devasthan Department, 17 in Jaipur Second, 21 in Ajmer, 98 in Udaipur, 100 in Bikaner, 21 in Hanumangarh, 53 in Kota, 57 in Bharatpur, 20 in Jodhpur, 100 in Rishabhdev and 20 temples in Vrindavan Division.
