Jaipur, 5 October (Patrika English News ). The weather has once again taken a turn in Rajasthan. Today (Sunday), heavy rains, hailstorms and thunderstorms are going to start across the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for October 5 and 6 and advised people to be vigilant.
Due to the impact of the western disturbance active in North India and the new seasonal system made in the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, this system will be active till October 8.
Saturday also received light to moderate rains in many districts including Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Barmer, Jhalawar, Sirohi, Jalore, Banswara and Pratapgarh. In the last 24 hours, 33 mm was recorded in Kapasan in Chittorgarh, 21 mm in Dhorimanna in Barmer, while Udaipur recorded 4 mm of rain.

In the capital Jaipur, Sunday was sunny in the morning, but due to light winds, the weather remained pleasant. There is a possibility of cloud cover and rain in the sky after noon.
According to IMD Jaipur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Udaipur divisions and Shekhawati region are expected to have strong rains for the next 48 hours. At the same time, alert of rain and hailstorm has also been issued in Sikar, Sriganganagar and Bharatpur districts.
The Meteorological Department has advised farmers, passengers and urban residents to take precautions. Appeal has been made to cover the fields or cover the yield kept in the open and avoid unnecessary travel.
The process of rain and thunderstorms will continue till October 8, after which the temperature is expected to fall and winter knock.
