
Jodhpur, October 15 (Udaipur Kiran News). Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat expressed deep condolences on the horrific accident of fire in the bus between Jaisalmer-Jodhpur and expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased. He wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Shekhawat said that this is an incident that will shock the entire state.
While talking to the media in Udaipur on Wednesday, Shekhawat said that so far 20 people have died in the accident, while many others have been seriously injured. Of the injured, 16 people have been admitted to a hospital in Jodhpur, where their treatment is ongoing. He said that as soon as information about the incident was received, the local administration and fire department teams immediately reached the spot and started relief work.

The Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his condolences as soon as he got information about the accident and announced an assistance amount of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
Shekhawat said that Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also reached Jodhpur and Jaisalmer on Tuesday itself. He met the injured and instructed the hospital administration to provide all necessary medical facilities. Shekhawat said that the administration has ordered an investigation into the reasons for this incident which shocked the entire state. The work of identification of the dead is going on.
