Surajgarh Municipality’s technical expert arrested for taking bribe of Rs 10,000

Jaipur, October 9 (Udaipur Kiran News). Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) fined Rs 10,000 to Deepak Taylor, a city level technical specialist working in Surajgarh Municipality of Jhunjhunu district. Bribe taken red handed arrested Have done.

Jhunjhunu unit took this action on the instructions of ACB headquarters. Accused Deepak Taylor was working in Municipality Surajgarh through the company and he had demanded bribe from the complainant in exchange for payment of the amount sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Additional Director General of Anti Corruption Bureau Police Smita Srivastava told that the complainant had been sanctioned Rs 2.50 lakh under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Of this, Rs 1 lakh had already been paid, while Deepak Taylor had demanded a bribe of Rs 40,000 for releasing the remaining Rs 1.50 lakh.

After confirming the bribe demand, verification was done on October 6, in which the accused had asked the complainant to pay a bribe of Rs 10,000 instead of the accepted amount of Rs 1 lakh. In this connection, today i.e. on 9th October, the ACB team, while conducting a trap action, caught Deepak Taylor while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant. The accused had kept this amount in his pants pocket, which was recovered on the spot.
