Washington, March 12: U.S. President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that American attacks have inflicted significant damage on Iran’s military structure, stating that its navy and air defense systems are nearly destroyed.
Speaking to reporters before departing from the White House, Trump asserted that the U.S. military has conducted unprecedented and highly effective strikes against Iranian military installations during the ongoing conflict.
“Our military is the best and most powerful in the world, and they are targeting them very forcefully. At this time, their navy is finished, their airports have been destroyed, and they no longer have any anti-aircraft systems or radar left. Their leaders are also gone, and we can do even more,” Trump stated.
He hinted that the U.S. has deliberately left some targets untouched, but if these were to be destroyed, it would be nearly impossible for Iran to rebuild its country.
“We have intentionally left some things. If we wanted to, we could finish them by this afternoon, or even within an hour. After that, they would not be able to rebuild their country,” he added.
The U.S. President also claimed that most of Iran’s naval capabilities have been obliterated, stating that nearly all of its ships have been destroyed.
Trump further mentioned that the U.S. military has dismantled Iran’s multi-layered defense system. “We have destroyed their navy, their air force, and all their anti-defense systems. This has never been seen before,” he said.
When asked if the U.S. might halt Military Action even if Iran does not meet its conditions, Trump suggested that the campaign could continue. “We have inflicted more damage on them than perhaps any country in history, and it is not over yet,” he concluded.
