
Udaipur, April 15: A grand Rally was held in Udaipur on Tuesday in support of the Women’s Empowerment Act 2026, organized by various community groups. Participants expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decision to reserve Political Participation for women. The rally commenced from the Town Hall, traversing major routes such as Surajpole, Bapu Bazaar, and Dehli Gate, before concluding back at the municipal premises.
A significant number of women and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers participated in the event. Women attending the rally stated that the Women’s Empowerment Act marks a historic step towards the respect and empowerment of women, recognizing their true potential.
BJP district president Gajpal Singh Rathore highlighted that numerous effective initiatives have been taken during the current government’s tenure to uplift women. He noted that women are no longer confined to domestic roles, as their participation is now ensured from the panchayat level to the parliament.
District council member Pinky Mandawat described the decision to provide 33 percent reservation in parliament and state assemblies as historic, enabling women to play a significant role in policy-making. Attendees at the rally signed banners expressing their gratitude to the Prime Minister. BJP leaders Paras Singhvi, Archana Sharma, Sonika Jain, and several other activists were also present at the event.
