Jaipur, October 18 (Patrika English News ). As per the instructions of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the Unity March campaign is being run till 6 December 2025 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The aim of this campaign is to promote national unity and pay tribute to the vision of Sardar Patel.
Giving detailed information about the vision of the campaign, outline of the program and opportunities for public participation, Indian Janata Party State President Madan Rathod said that the Sardar@150 Unity March campaign is dedicated to the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel and will be organized in the entire state. During this period, along with various programs, there will also be sports competitions and yoga.
He said that first of all the Padyatra will be organized at the district level from 31st October to 15th November 2025 and at the national level the Padyatra will be organized from 26th November to 06th December 2025, which will go from Karamsad, the birthplace of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, to Ekta Nagar (Statue of Unity). Two representatives each from all the districts of the state will go in the 152 kilometer padyatra.
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister, Rajasthan Government, Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that the initiative launched by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the form of Ekta March campaign represents the vision of a developed and self-reliant India. Various programs will be organized grandly on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, in which the youth will get a creative platform to express the feelings of patriotism and messages of unity.
State in-charge of Sardar@150 program and MLA Khandar Jitendra Gothwal gave detailed information about how it will be organized at different levels. During this time, an essay competition will also be organized, in which one has to write in 250 words on one of the four topics: Unity in Diversity, Role of Youth in Maintaining the Unity of India, Lessons to be Learned from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Practical Leadership for a Developed India, A Collective Youth Action to Shape the Future of India and Sardar Patel’s Values of Life as a Way of Living. Youth between 15 years to 29 years can participate.
Dr. Neeraj K. Pawan told that there will also be podcast, quiz and national reel competition. All registrations and activities are taking place on My Bharat portal. All youth are requested to join and actively participate in this historic initiative. All registrations, competitions and digital activities will be conducted on My Bharat portal.
