
Dungarpur, April 7: A tragic incident occurred in Devki village of the Dovda police station area when the wall of a makeshift cattle shed collapsed. The disaster resulted in the death of 21 goats, while three goats and two individuals sustained injuries.
At the time of the incident, the goats were resting in the shade of the wall, and two people were standing nearby. The sudden collapse buried them all under the debris. Local residents promptly initiated rescue operations and rushed the injured to the hospital. The deceased goats were a primary source of livelihood for the family, leaving them in a state of economic distress. Authorities have inspected the site and are preparing a report, with assistance measures now being initiated.
