A lamp celebrated in the name of martyrs at War Memorial Public Park

Bikaner, 19 October (Udaipur Kiran News). A Diya organized on the eve of Diwali was celebrated under the joint auspices of Gaurav Senani Association Bikana and Sainik Welfare Office at the War Memorial located in the Public Park in the name of martyrs.

Colonel Hem Singh Shekhawat, Army Medal, in his address said that light a lamp in the name of the martyrs and also remember those who never came back. We all happily celebrate the holy festival of Diwali with our families, but have we ever thought that we Indians celebrate all our festivals with joy while staying safe, for which all the credit goes to our army officers and soldiers who have not returned till date. The people present lit lamps paying homage to the martyrs at the War Memorial.

On this occasion, organization president and ABPSSP Bikaner unit patron Colonel Hem Singh Shekhawat, District Sainik Welfare Officer Colonel Yash Rathore, Kshatriya Sabha and Trust Bikaner division spokesperson Pradeep Singh Chauhan, ABPSSP co-convenor Sergeant Toda Ram Golia, Secretary Sergeant Omkar Singh Morkhana, Subedar Roop Singh Ishwaranavada, Subedar Major Gajendra Singh Nimbola, Subedar Shankar Singh, Rajendra Singh Motasar, Narendra Singh Morkhana, citizens and ex-servicemen were present.
