A youth riding a bike died while the other one was injured in a head-on collision between two bikes on Monday midnight near Mansarovar station located in Shyam Nagar police station area of Jaipur city. It is being told that after the accident, another bike rider coming from the wrong direction ran away from the spot after hitting him. But left the bike there. At present, the police have seized both the damaged bikes and started investigation. The police reached the spot and conducted post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family members. Road Accident Police Station South is investigating the matter.
Road Accident Police Station Officer South said that Wasim Akram (35), resident of Mohalla Shahadat of Tonk Malpura, died in the accident. Who used to run a mobile shop while living in Char Darwaja area. It is being told that he had gone to his village Malpura district Tonk on Diwali. On Monday, Wasim Akram was returning back to Jaipur on bike with his companion Syed Munir Ahmed. Meanwhile, on Monday night both of them had reached near Mansarovar metro station on bike. During this, suddenly a bike rider coming from the wrong direction hit his bike from the front. When there was a head-on collision, both the bike riders fell on the road and bled to death. However, the young man who hit him ran away leaving the damaged bike on the spot. Police reached the spot after receiving information and got injured Wasim Akram and Syed Munir admitted to the hospital. Where Wasim was declared dead by the doctors during treatment. The injured Syed Munir is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in a critical condition. The police conducted the post-mortem of deceased Wasim in Jaipuria Hospital and handed over the body to the family members. Police have seized both the damaged bikes found at the spot. At present, the police is searching for the bike-riding youth who caused the collision.
